“Apple Unveils Enchanting Holiday Film ‘Fuzzy Feelings’ Blending Stop-Motion and Live-Action”
In a creative collaboration with “Hacks” director Lucia Aniello and accomplished stop-motion animator Anna Mantzaris, Apple presents the captivating 4-minute holiday film, “Fuzzy Feelings,” through the lens of TBWA\Media Arts Lab.
The narrative unfolds with a mesmerizing stop-motion animated sequence featuring a felt character navigating wintry streets amidst a string of misadventures. Abruptly, the camera zooms out, revealing the mastermind behind the animated magic—a young woman utilizing the iPhone 15 Pro Max to capture her stop-motion project and the 15-inch MacBook Air with M2 for editing.
Balancing her role as an office worker during the day and a dedicated stop-motion artist by night, the film seamlessly transitions between the woman’s live-action reality and her imaginative stop-motion world. Viewers witness the animator navigating challenges with her boss, cleverly woven into her stop-motion creation.
As the latest addition to Apple’s annual holiday film series, “Fuzzy Feelings” serves as a poignant reminder that a touch of creativity has the power to foster kindness in the world. The film will be available on YouTube, accompanied by an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of “Fuzzy Feelings” on YouTube and @apple.
