Javelin has recently unveiled a fresh, multi-platform campaign for An Post, spotlighting the latest delivery options offered by the postal service. Julie Gill from An Post emphasized the customer-driven innovation, stating, “This fantastic innovation, driven by our customers, will enhance your online shopping experience with An Post. All easily managed with a click at anpost.com.” The primary goal of this initiative is to demonstrate the simplicity of handling deliveries through An Post.
The campaign is currently being showcased across various platforms, including video-on-demand, social media, digital channels, radio, out-of-home, and digital out-of-home. Produced by Heritage, the campaign features direction by Hannah Berry George, known for infusing her signature comedic flair into her work. Starring brand spokesperson Angela Scanlon, the videos were filmed in Dublin and London, presenting diverse scenarios where individuals might need to manage their deliveries or process returns.
Hannah Berry George, the campaign’s director, expressed her enthusiasm, saying, “I don’t think I’ve ever worked with a brand that is as loved as An Post, which is both a dream and a responsibility to live up to. I’m a fan of where they’re taking the brand and how open they were to being playful – and who doesn’t love a dog and her owner in matching ponchos?”
The campaign’s concept was developed by Ian McFarlane and Tiffany Rose from Javelin. Tiffany emphasized the importance of creating a heightened reality, stating, “It was really important for us to create a heightened reality with this piece. We all understand the idea of deliveries and returns, so we could have some fun creating these scenarios where our character needed to manage his delivery in one way or another. It was a real collaborative effort with An Post, Heritage, and ourselves, and we couldn’t be happier with how it’s turned out. It is a very hard-working piece but we’re really happy with how we’ve been able to keep a sense of whimsy and humor within it.”
