SÃO PAULO, October 2024 — Ampfy, a communication agency, introduces Andrea Siqueira as its new partner and Chief Creative Officer (CCO). After spending four years in the United States, where she served as Executive Creative Director at FCB Chicago and later at BBDO Chicago, Andrea returns to Brazil to lead the agency’s creative team.
As Ampfy approaches its 13th anniversary, it enters a new phase of expansion, bringing on board an internationally acclaimed and award-winning creative professional. André Chueri, partner and CEO of Ampfy, says, “Andrea’s arrival is a significant step in our journey toward consolidating ourselves as one of the most influential contemporary agencies in the Brazilian market.” The agency projects a 40% growth by the end of 2024, with revenues reaching R$ 450 million. “With creativity as the driving force for growth, we plan to double in size over the next two years,” Chueri adds.
Fred Siqueira, co-founder and former CCO of Ampfy, celebrates Andrea’s arrival as a major milestone: “We’ve always followed Andrea’s work, and I see a strong alignment between her vision, values, and our culture at Ampfy.” Currently, the agency has around 250 professionals, with over 80 dedicated to creation, all of whom will now report directly to Andrea. Fred will continue to serve on Ampfy’s executive board alongside Andrea, taking on the role of Creative Chair.
“When André Chueri and Fred Siqueira invited me to become a partner and CCO of Ampfy, the offer was irresistible. It’s a unique opportunity to take a new step in my career, working outside a large network and diving into the ‘counter-culture’ of leading an independent agency,” says Andrea.
Ampfy is further focusing on creativity as its primary growth engine, both to expand business with existing clients and attract new ones. Andrea will oversee the agency’s entire portfolio, which includes major brands such as Ruffles, Toddy, Toddynho, Pepsi, Gatorade, Quaker, Perdigão, Sadia, Bauducco, Outback, Risqué, Bozzano, Shell, Azeites Andorinha, Mastercard, Amazon, Piracanjuba, Dr. Oetker, and Enel.
“A great idea is a vision of the future. It impacts people, accelerates business, and moves culture. Creativity, to me, is just that: an economic multiplier. The agency gains reputation. The client gains market share. And the professionals advance in their careers. Ampfy is a playground for those who love creativity, a digital-native agency that today represents some of the biggest brands in the market, with a standout culture and incredibly talented people. That’s not something every agency can claim,” Andrea shares about her expectations for this new chapter.
In addition to her experience in building iconic brands, Andrea brings valuable practices and perspectives she aims to foster in Brazil, such as promoting more diverse teams, implementing new agency competition and remuneration models, and adopting a more human-centric approach to the communications industry. “Clients and agency leaders, whether multinational or independent, need to be at the table together, committed to making the necessary changes in the market,” she says.
Andrea also emphasizes the importance of nurturing more female leaders in the industry: “In the U.S., I co-founded a group called Good Latinas for Good. At the invitation of Patricia Corsi, Renata Ferraiolo, and Carla Eboli, we established an organization of Latina women leaders in various fields worldwide, with the mission of developing and empowering the next generation of Latina leaders. We’re already in the second year of our mentorship program, and together, we’ve impacted over 200 women in the communications industry. I want to do much more,” Andrea adds.
With over 20 years of experience in the advertising industry, Andrea has worked at agencies like DM9DDB, JWT, Africa, and BETC in Brazil, as well as FCB and BBDO Chicago in the U.S. Throughout her career, she has received numerous prestigious awards, including Cannes, One Show, D&AD, Clio, LIA Awards, Clube de Criação, and Profissionais do Ano, among others. She has also served as a juror at some of the most prominent festivals in Brazil and globally. In 2019, she won the Caboré award for Creative Professional of the Year. Under her leadership, BETC was named one of the top 10 creative agencies in Brazil by the Gun Report. In the U.S., she helped BBDO Chicago become one of the most awarded agencies of 2023, according to The Drum, a British publication.
