Ammunition makes its mark on London with a high-impact Outernet takeover timed for the Uncensored CMO event

On April 21, independent agency Ammunition made its European debut in a way that was impossible to ignore – taking over Outernet London, one of Europe’s most advanced digital media spaces, timed to coincide with the Uncensored CMO event attended by 400+ senior marketers.

The activation spanned both the vast 322sqm VISTA screen outside Tottenham Court Road station, dominating the street for the 250,000 people passing through daily, and the Now Arcade – a 21-metre 8K immersive tunnel that audiences moved through, making the campaign impossible to miss.

Designed to do more than generate visibility, the activation was a statement of intent and a clear demonstration of the agency practising what it preaches. Across the vast VISTA screens and immersive Arcade space, Ammunition’s bold creative dominated the environment, carrying a simple but pointed message: “Growth. No Matter What.™”

This wasn’t just a brand moment; it was a reflection of the reality many marketers are operating in today, constant pressure to deliver measurable results, often within increasingly complex and fragmented systems. As attendees arrived at Outernet, they were met not only by the scale of the takeover but by a campaign that directly spoke to the tension at the heart of today’s marketing: the expectation to be both bold and accountable.

The activation was amplified further through a mix of industry voices and creators, including Heather Barnett and Robyn Hartley, alongside a series of on-the-ground interviews, reactions, and social-first content capturing the moment in real time.

Renaye Edwards, Global Chief Operating Officer, MD Europe at Ammunition, said, “Coming into the UK, we had no interest in quietly talking about growth – we wanted to put something tangible behind it. Outernet gave us the chance to show up, properly, in front of exactly the audience we’re here to build with, and create something they simply couldn’t miss. Because if we’re constantly telling our clients to be braver, think bigger, we have to hold ourselves to the same standard. Blending in is how you get ignored, so we didn’t. At Ammunition, we believe in bold, commercially driven work, and that means backing it where it counts: out in the real world.”

For Ammunition, the takeover marked more than just a launch. Founded in Atlanta in 2017, the agency has grown rapidly by building a model that connects strategy, creative, media, data, and technology into a system focused on a single outcome: measurable growth. Its expansion into Europe, led by Global COO, MD Europe, Renaye Edwards, signals an ambition to bring that same approach to a market often dominated by fragmented agency structures.
