TinyWins/The Shipyard, who worked in close collaboration with Alix and the Reale Actives team to create the campaign believed in the idea that the best skincare routine is the one that lets you stop thinking about your skin and start living your life, “Wet Hot Reale Summer” speaks to acne-prone consumers through a promise of freedom: less time managing breakouts, more time being present.
Instead of leaning into expected skincare visuals like mirrors, sinks, routines and before-and-afters, the campaign takes Reale Actives into the world through beach days, convenience store runs, melting ice, chrome details, camcorder footage, cold treats and real skin in motion.
Visually, the work creates a nostalgic early-2000s summer world inspired by camcorders, flash photography, skate and surf culture and sun-soaked teenage summers. The product remains present, but the hero is the feeling: spontaneity, movement, confidence and the ability to spend less time worrying about skin and more time experiencing summer.
