AiCandy’s climate-focused film ‘Mad World’ was invited to screen ahead of Sir David Attenborough’s latest documentary Sir David Attenborough’s latest documentary at this year’s Ocean Lovers Festival on Saturday night, in partnership with the United Nations Association of Australia.
The inclusion of ‘Mad World’ in the programme highlights its continued momentum within the global climate conversation, using AI-powered filmmaking to visualise future environmental scenarios and drive awareness around the urgency of climate action.
“We don’t take moments like this lightly,” said AiCandy. “To have our work sit alongside a film of this scale and impact is incredibly meaningful.”
AiCandy also acknowledged the support of Brett Martin from the United Nations Association of Australia, who helped facilitate the screening of ‘Mad World’ and has been a strong advocate for the project.
‘Ocean’, narrated by Sir David Attenborough, takes viewers on a breathtaking journey showing there is nowhere more vital for our survival, more full of life, wonder, or surprise, than the ocean. Through spectacular sequences featuring coral reefs, kelp forests and the open ocean, Attenborough shares why a healthy ocean keeps the entire planet stable and flourishing.
