Mumbai, 6th July 2026: ACG Sports today announced the appointment of Jake Lush McCrum as its Chief Executive Officer. Based in Mumbai, Lush McCrum will drive the strategic direction and commercial evolution of the business, with a core focus on leading the launch and growth of the India Basketball League (IBL).
IBL is scheduled to launch in early 2027 as a new sports entertainment property combining fast-paced professional basketball, live entertainment, and fan-first experiences.
Lush McCrum joins ACG Sports following an eight-year tenure with the Rajasthan Royals, where, as CEO, he oversaw the development of the franchise’s commercial, digital, and global positioning. Under his leadership, the Royals expanded their fan community, scaled their digital engagement, and strengthened the Royals’ Foundation’s social impact across Rajasthan.
