Takei initiated his career as a copywriter at a local agency in Japan. After winning the TCC (Tokyo Copywriters Club) Newcomers Award, he joined Saatchi & Saatchi, which merged with Publicis Groupe in Japan in 2016. At beacon communications, he served as a creative director and copywriter, contributing to the agency’s Gold win at last year’s Campaign Creative Agency of the Year Awards. He has gained experience working with renowned brands such as Philip Morris, P&G, Mondelez, Danone, T-fal, GlaxoSmithKline, and IG Securities.
Takei has received both domestic and international advertising accolades and has served as a jury member for prestigious advertising awards in recent years.
Gareth Mulryan, the Chief Executive Officer, commented, “Takei-san’s ability to blend his remarkable creative skills with contemporary perspectives in every project has continuously impressed me. This is incredibly valuable to our clients’ businesses. Witnessing individuals grow within a company is always rewarding, and Takei-san has certainly demonstrated that growth. I am confident he will excel as an ECD.”
