Los Angeles, California, May 23, 2023 — Powerhouse production company Tinygiant has announced the addition of directing duo Taylor Reid to their acclaimed roster of talent. Comprised of directors Nicholas Taylor and Paul Reid, Taylor Reid claims an unconventional approach to commercial filmmaking. Their films have earned a reputation for telling stories of extraordinary individuals achieving exceptional feats, seamlessly weaving together both the intimate and the universal with captivating visual energy.
Founded in 2017 in Toronto, Taylor Reid quickly became known as one of Canada’s best and brightest rising director talents. With Taylor’s rich background in documentary film and Reid’s experience steeped in action sports— including projects that have captured world-class surfing, snowboarding, and skateboarding— they’ve created an impressive portfolio of memorable visual stories with a variety of high-profile brands.Earlier this year, Taylor Reid directed The Joy Smith Foundation’s national awareness campaign, “See the Trafficking Signs.” The poignant and harrowing film educates on the common signs that someone may be at risk of sex trafficking.Past clients include Air Canada, EA Sports, Ford, Mastermind, Porsche, RBC Bank, Red Bull, Subaru, TD Bank, Yamaha, and Volkswagen, among others.
