Myciunka has served as the CEO of Bauer Media Audio Ireland for the past two years after joining the group through its acquisition of Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp. He will assume his new position on July 1st, while Chris Doyle, the current Chief Operating Officer, will oversee the day-to-day operations of Bauer Media Audio Ireland until a permanent successor is named.
During Myciunka’s leadership, Bauer Media Audio Ireland has experienced significant growth, both in terms of revenue and audience reach. The company has expanded its broadcast and digital audio portfolio, establishing itself as the largest commercial radio group in the country, with six radio stations.
The portfolio includes national stations such as Today FM and Newstalk, two Spin youth stations, 98FM in Dublin, and the recently acquired RedFM in Cork. Additionally, Bauer Media Audio Ireland owns the sports media brand OTB Sports, the aggregated listening platform GoLoud, and the digital audio advertising exchange audioXi.
