Sophia Reynoso joins following the agency’s appointment as Global AOR for Brompton
4th May 2023 – ScienceMagic, the strategic and creative company that was recently named Brompton’s Global AOR, is expanding its management team, with the appointment of Sophia Reynoso as Managing Partner of its New York office.
Reynoso was formerly Director of Advertising at Louis Vuitton Americas, and prior to that held senior roles at leading media agencies including Mediacom, as Senior Partner, and Havas, as Vice President Group Account Director.
During that time, she led multi-discipline teams across strategy, audience development, paid media, creative, sponsorships, experiential, talent/gaming/influencer partnerships, content development and analytics. She has produced data-driven, award-winning work for a variety of clients, managing diverse brands including Duracell, Ally Financial, Revlon, Swarovski, Net-A-Porter, Louis Vuitton, Donna Karan, Marc Jacobs, Celine, Kenzo, Harry Winston and Hugo Boss.
Early in her career, she was trained by creative visionaries responsible for crafting the brand architecture and campaigns for Burberry, Diane Von Furstenberg, McDonald’s and various celebrities. She has also played a key role in new business development for several agencies.
She will join this month and will report directly to Ben Tauber, President of ScienceMagic NY, who joined in April 2022 from Grey New York, where he was Managing Director.
Reynoso will work closely with business leaders in the strategic Science, creative Magic and digital Experience teams to develop and scale the business in the US market. In addition, her deep expertise in media will play a vital role to the agency’s existing strategic ‘Science’ capability.
With offices in both London and NY, ScienceMagic has seen great momentum in its US business over the last year, with significant growth from existing and new clients, and counts Glossier, Brompton, Ebay, Google, StriVectin, MISSION, Tangle Teezer and The White Company amongst them.
