Lucky Generals has been chosen by Drambuie to manage its global advertising business.
The agency will receive instructions to create a multi-market brand campaign that aims to enhance awareness and relevance, ultimately unlocking a new phase of growth for Drambuie.
Drambuie, owned by William Grant & Sons, is a distinctive blend of aged Scotch whisky, heather honey, herbs, and spices. The brand has a fascinating heritage in the hospitality industry, originating from a family recipe dating back to the 18th Century, blended by a hotelier on the Isle of Skye.
Recognized as a symbol of indulgence and generosity, Drambuie has garnered a global following and is exported worldwide as an authentic Scotch whisky liqueur. Presently, it is enjoyed in the form of the Drambuie Iced Espresso serve, a delightful variation of the Espresso Martini. This concoction combines equal parts espresso or cold brew with Drambuie, to be savored over plenty of ice and in the company of good friends.
James Taylor, the global marketing manager at Drambuie, commented, “Drambuie is an iconic brand that, despite recent challenges, remains a staple in numerous bars and households across the globe. After conversing with the team at Lucky Generals, we were impressed by their ability to tell compelling stories infused with a generous dose of humor. This quality will be crucial for Drambuie’s future communications, and we are excited to commence our collaboration with Lucky Generals as we work together to unlock the full potential of this iconic brand.”
Vickie Ridley, CMO at Lucky Generals, remarked, “We are delighted to partner with a brand that boasts such a rich history, an incredibly delicious product, and a team driven by immense ambition. Here’s to a successful collaboration!”
