Life doesn’t have to hinder your shopping experience. That’s the message conveyed by Smith St, Coles Group’s specialized marketing agency, as they promote Coles Online’s Rapid Home Delivery and Rapid Click & Collect services.
The commercials showcase various moments in life where Rapid Home Delivery and Rapid Click & Collect can make a significant difference. For instance, a mother finds herself stuck at her child’s recorder performance, or a dog owner is trapped under her furry friend sprawled across her lap.
Rapid Delivery offers customers the convenience of home delivery in as little as 90 minutes, while Rapid Click & Collect allows Australians to pick up their groceries in as little as 60 minutes from any of the 467 nationwide stores, marking the first time this service is available.
Considering that essentials like bread and milk, as well as last-minute dinner ingredients such as a hot chicken and fresh vegetables, are high on the priority list for online shoppers, Coles has been actively seeking ways to provide time-poor customers with the convenience they desire.
Bianca Mundy, Head of Brand and Media at Coles, says, “As a company, we have placed a strong emphasis on connecting with our customers through convenience. A significant part of this effort has been focused on reducing turnaround times for our online services. This campaign offers a lighthearted solution to a serious business objective.”
Chris Taylor, Senior Creative at Smith St, adds, “Each film revolves around everyday moments that have been infused with a sense of unavoidable urgency for comedic effect. One of the highlights was teaching a group of kids how to play Hot Cross Buns, making sure they were good enough to play it but not overly skilled.”
