London, 27th April 2023 – Veuve Clicquot, one of the world’s leading Champagne houses, has appointed ScienceMagic as lead UK strategic and creative partner for the Solaire Culture Brand Exhibition in London, celebrating 250 years of the iconic brand.
Veuve Clicquot is one of the most well-established female-led brands, led by Madame Clicquot who took over the reins in 1772. As a tribute to Madame Clicquot’s audacity, exhibition Curator Camille Morineau has brought together nine bold and renowned female artists, including the iconic Yayoi Kusama, Sheila Hicks and manga artist Moyoco Anno to curate art inspired by the brand’s story. Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the House’s heritage with more than 2,000 archival objects crossing The Channel.
The exhibition also includes a month of cultural programming in celebration of female audacity and the return of the much-acclaimed Sunny Side Up Café.
ScienceMagic, a company which blends strategic ‘science’ with creative ‘magic’, was appointed without a pitch. It will collaborate with Veuve Clicquot to support the exhibition launch and help programme the month-long celebration. As part of this, the company will develop creative content and communications, as well as leading on influencer and talent strategy.
Ali Wilkes, Consumer Engagement Director, Moet Hennessy, said: “We’re delighted to announce ScienceMagic as our partner to bring Solaire Culture Exhibition to life in London. We hope many will join us for this iconic moment to celebrate 250 years of the brand and female audacity.”
Hannah Hattie Matthews, Chief Brand Officer, ScienceMagic, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to be working with Veuve Clicquot, one of the original female-led brands, to mark their 250th anniversary and celebrate women with this landmark series of events in London, bringing a community together to create genuine engagement.”
