LUDWIG+ gets behind the wheel of the all-new RAM REV 1500 electric truck with “Guinea Pig,” a new campaign that shows the benefits of taking the time to get it right.
In support of the truck’s New York Auto Show reveal, “Guinea Pig” explores Americans’ desire to try out the “next great thing” – products that all too often don’t measure up to expectations. The campaign includes at :60 film as well as two :15 spots.
The film depicts how being first isn’t always a great advantage, as comedian and “Saturday Night Live” alumnus Tim Robinson experiences in humorous fashion with several fictional new products—including a sandwich stapler, fridge compactor and voice-controlled ottoman.
Ultimately, as Robinson’s latest trial of an inflatable mansion fails in spectacular fashion, he is rescued by the driver of the well-conceived RAM REV 1500, an electric truck that meets all expectations and delivers the capabilities that today’s discerning truck owner requires.
