Jenna has worked with clients including VICE, Comedy Channel, BBC Storyworks and Universal Music
Originally from Sydney, Jenna honed her craft at the highly regarded film school, AFTRS – The Australian, Film, Television and Radio School. Here Jenna was mentored by Academy Award and Emmy nominated editor Mark Warner.
Over her freelance years she has built up a loyal client base, gathering experience across a broad range of genres. VICE, Comedy Channel, BBC Storyworks and Universal Music are just some of the big name clients that Jenna has worked with during her eight years as an editor.
Jenna is particularly fond of cutting documentaries but equally as comfortable in the commercial world. Jenna views filmmaking as a significant device for positive change, which has led her to be drawn to those stories which speak of diverse cultures, underrepresented communities and contemporary social issues.
Two of her highlights are the editing of the feature documentary ‘Ayukawa – The Weight of A Life’, which was selected for the Vancouver, Portland and New Zealand International Film Festivals and her work for BBC Storyworks – ‘Captains Of Africa’ which was shortlisted for the 2020 World Media Awards.
She is a resourceful editor with a strong sense of rhythm and emotion and is not afraid to experiment with different ideas and approaches.
