Enigma appoints Gipi Gopinath as Head of Performance Media as agency furthers data and tech capabilities

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — Independent creative, design and media agency Enigma has appointed performance media specialist Gipi Gopinath to the role of Head of Performance Media, further bolstering the agency’s already strong performance capabilities.

Gipi’s key responsibility will be to lead Enigma’s performance media team as the agency continues to realize its ambition to invest heavily in data and tech capabilities.

Enigma Head of Media Justin Ladmore said Gipi’s appointment was another exciting milestone as the agency continues to grow its media team and expand its performance product offering to include SEO and CRO.

Justin said, “Gipi is a driven and strategic performance marketer, obsessed with delivering business outcomes for his clients through his incredible understanding of both organic and paid digital media and the strategies required to deliver high performance campaigns. He will work alongside our Exec Director of Digital, Chris Richardson, Digital Strategist Antonio Panuccio and our talented media team to ensure we have the best performance media product in the market.”

“And what’s more he is a top bloke with the most amazing and diverse background, and we are all looking forward to working with him,” he furthered.

Gipi started his working life as an Aircraft Engineer working for Emirates, before transferring his creativity, analytical and problem-solving skills to website development. He then trained himself to be a master of SEO, data and analytics and over the last 15 years has held senior SEO and SEM roles both globally and nationally.

Most recently he was SEO Experience Director at Reprise, Sydney and prior to that was Director of Search at Croud, Sydney. He has also held senior SEO roles at APD in Sydney and iCrossing and TUG in the UK.

His years of strategic skills and experience has encompassed SEO, SEM, social, and programmatic, and managing teams to deliver digital strategy and implementation for top-tier clients including eBay, LG, Fantastic Furniture, Tourism Australia and Coca Cola.

On his new role Gipi said, “I am incredibly excited to join Enigma, they are one of the few truly integrated agencies; they have such an exceptional and talented team who are truly passionate about their craft and clients.
