Goulding said: “John is a fantastic talent, who’s created some of our industry’s best work. It’s rare to find such a great conceptual thinker, able to bring his ideas to life in everything from TV to social to PR. And most importantly, he’s a refreshingly down to earth and collaborative person who I know will bring the best out of our talent.”
Cherry said: “I’ve learnt plenty from the agencies I’ve been privileged to work at and noticed one thing – great creative comes from working with partners that are smart, encouraging and fun. Jon, Lou and Steve have all those qualities. I’m properly excited to be part of Atomic, to build on top of what’s already there, and have fun making famously memorable work, wherever it’s encountered.”
Creative non-executive director Ewan Paterson, said: “Our creative ambition at Atomic is to create culturally famous ideas that have the power to transform brands. John has made a career of doing exactly that, for the world’s biggest brands at the best creative agencies.”
