RocketMill Strengthens Programmatic Division

Hiring of Ben Norville and Jonathan Cozens responds to the market’s increasing consolidation of services

RocketMill, the UK’s largest employee-owned agency, has announced the appointment of two new media directors, Ben Norville and Jonathan Cozens, furthering the development of their Total Performance offering with even tighter alignment between their advanced media and creative departments.

The pair moves to RocketMill from Merkle, where they supported the growth of its media services team in the UK. During this time, they were responsible for defining media strategies and leading programmatic campaigns for brands such as  Burberry, Diageo, Kingfisher plc and Pandora. 

At RocketMill, they will grow cross-discipline connections through innovative programmatic activations by overseeing media planning, buying, optimisation delivery, and execution of digital buying strategies.

“Brand and performance are amalgamating at pace. The appointment of Ben and Jonathan is one of many steps we’re taking to ensure that our heavy-weight creative team and our award-winning media team can work together more effectively than ever before,” said Tom Byrne, chief executive officer at RocketMill.

“Programmatic is a key component of our Total Performance offering,” said Jack Chape, chief media officer at RocketMill. “Ben and Jonathan bring extensive expertise from global clients that will further advance our media services. Their arrival will enable RocketMill to continue driving performance for our clients with a sophisticated Programmatic offering that leverages diverse partners and planning, cookieless solutions, and builds upon the success of our integrated Creative optimisation process.”
