DDB México is awarded the Creative Use of Data Grand LIA and the Digital Grand LIA

(New York,18th October, 2022) Today, London International Awards (LIA), one of the world’s most prestigious Global Award Shows, continuing its tradition of a total focus on creativity is pleased to reveal its 2022 Winners from across 27disciplines.

Created for Creatives, LIA has the highest caliber of jurors from across the planet. All rounds of judging were done onsite in Las Vegas over nine days. Our judging process has no pre-judging. Each juror sees every piece of work in their respective Categories. Each jury, along with their President, convened in their judging room to discuss and debate thoroughly before deciding on the Winners. This ensures that all work was judged equally through careful deliberations and robust discussions.

Humberto Polar, Partner & Chief Creative Officer at The Juju and LIA Non-Traditional juror commented, “Judging LIA as a part of such a fantastic group of professionals made my year.We managed to have awesome discussions and to exchange valuable points of view about the state of our business, in the process of awarding the very best of the year. About the winners, it is clearer than ever that the best current advertising goes far beyond a speech or a narrative, and it commits to take action which means a lot, since advertising a part of the communications industry. Either for a brand or for a cause, we should give more value to those messages that trigger other concrete things and make people move from where they are.

LIA has assembled a truly inspiring community of creatives, eager to evolve our craft and meet the particularities of the zeitgeist, and it shows in the awarded work.”

Mexico scored 13 Statues at LIA 2022 – two Grand LIAs, sixGold, one Silver, four Bronze and attained two Finalists.

It was called “Data Tienda” from Mexico. Women that weren’t able to get a loan were now, because of the way they collected the data, were now able to get those loans. The impact that this had in the lives of these women and the people around them was something we wanted to celebrate and serve as an inspiration for other creatives in other parts of the world.
