The Elections Edition was one of only five Grand Prix winners globally
Continuing its successful year, The Elections Edition by IMPACT BBDO was awarded one of only five Grands Prix given this year at the Cresta Awards. The campaign for AnNahar Newspaper, which has previously won Grand Prix at Cannes Lions and the only D&AD Yellow Pencil in 2022 in MENA, was awarded for ‘Innovation in Print or OOH.’ Additionally, the campaign won a Cresta Gold in Ambient, converting both entries for IMPACT BBDO into solid metal.
This year, Cresta shortlisted 347 entries globally, of which 58 were from the Middle East.
Cresta has been showcasing and benchmarking exceptional creativity since 1993, attracting work from over 70 countries.
The following were the five Grands Prix of the Year at Cresta:
- ‘The Wish’ by Serviceplan Germany for Penny
- ‘The Elections Edition’ by IMPACT BBDO for AnNahar Newspaper
- ‘Open Spaces’ by RiffRaff Films for Burberry (x2)
- ‘The Trash Collection’ by TRY for IKEA
“With its distinctive jury system – 120 creative experts working individually around the world – Cresta Awards has once again surprised with its distinct quality and range of winners,” Cresta added in a release. “And it’s increasingly clear this is one of the most high-rated, quality honours to try and win.”
