Miller joins Imagination from sustainability consultancy Profitabl

Award-winning global experience design company, Imagination, has appointed Gavin Miller as its global environmental sustainability lead, responsible for developing and rolling out the business’ global environmental sustainability strategy.

Miller joins Imagination from sustainability consultancy Profitabl where he has helped businesses bring a sharp commercial and sustainability focus to their organisations. Prior to this, Miller has held a wide variety of senior commercial-, strategic business- and marketing roles at both enterprise and SME businesses. Prior to Profitabl, Miller spent four years as Managing director of Ultima Media, a global b2b media, data and events company. He is also a Course Director for Sustainability at The Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Miller’s appointment follows a period of steady growth for Imagination with a series of senior appointments, including new Heads of Strategy in the UK and EMEA. At Imagination, Miller will be responsible for developing and delivering the business’ global environmental sustainability strategy, which will include strategic advice for Imagination’s global client base as well.

Miller will report to Simon Bruxner-Randall, chief operating officer at Imagination.

Gavin Miller, global environmental sustainability lead at Imagination said: “Imagination is an exciting business on a journey of transformation and growth, and I am thrilled to be joining them at this stage of their evolution. Knowing where and how to start with sustainability in business and which actions will have an impact, can be difficult and with climate change and sustainability now much more widely recognised as crucial business priorities, I look forward to working with our global teams, clients and supply chain to help embed sustainability practices and to make positive change within the organisation.”

Patrick Reid, CEO at Imagination, said: “As Imagination continues to grow and evolve so must our ESG strategies. Gavin joins us at a perfect time and is the ideal candidate to help us improve processes and make positive sustainable changes for our business and clients. His expertise will be invaluable and we look forward to welcoming him.”
