Noor joins from Ogilvy Dubai, where she was the senior strategy director
Grey Group has announced the appointment of Noor Hassanein as head of strategy, Grey Dubai. Working closely with Philippe Berthelot (MD, Grey Dubai), Noor will be responsible for driving business transformation, developing strategy & communication frameworks, for clients across multiple sectors including: Tech & Telcos, Finance and FMCG.
Noor joins from Ogilvy Dubai, where she was the senior strategy director working on accounts such as Vodafone and the Mondelez Portfolio.
She started in the industry with Dentsu in 2008, followed by a move to JWT in 2010 and spent the first half of her career as a creative. Her diverse experience has given her a unique perspective and understanding of creative problem-solving & storytelling which extends to taking hard elements such as data and numbers and leveraging these to compose new and inspiring stories. Noor has worked closely on multiple accounts including Amazon, MARS, Pepsico, Vodafone, and Nestle and has successfully grown the brands as well as found real and innovative business solutions for clients.
Since Noor’s move to strategy at BBDO Cairo in 2014 and then as strategy director at BBDO Dubai in 2018, she has worked on some of the most awarded and globally recognised campaigns from the region, including An-Nahar Newspaper’s Blank Edition and the New National Anthem Edition -which won the Grand Prix at Cannes Lions, MENA Effie and Dubai Lynx. Noor was also recently ranked by the One Show, B&W report, and the Loeries in the region’s Top Heads of Strategy/ Strategists list. She has participated on several jury panels such as the Grand Jury at the AME Awards (NY Festivals) and the WARC Prize for MENA Strategy.
